Anna White is the creator, calligrapher, and heart behind Ella Ink. Lettering has always been a love, but it wasn't until Ella Ink was founded in 2021 that life as calligrapher became official. Anna offers both formal and modern calligraphy styles, all of which can be hand-written or digitized for print. As a calligrapher and business owner, Anna's priority is to offer high quality calligraphy-related services that represent each client's unique style. 

 

So who is Ella?  Ella is a combination of her daughters' names (Elena + Lila = Ella).

Anna lives in Durham, North Carolina. She is a practicing  physician assistant and when not behind a stethoscope or pen and ink, she spends her time with her family, gardening, exercising, and searching for good food and drinks..
